Traditional Metal Braces

If you have teeth that are crooked, crowded, or gapped, we may recommend braces. Braces are a common orthodontic treatment that can correct these issues and give you a smile that is straighter, healthier, and more attractive. They can also be used to correct problems with the alignment of your bite, such as an overbite, open bite, cross bite, or underbite. Braces work through a complex system of metal brackets, wires, and bands that combine together to straighten and realign your teeth. The brackets are bonded to the fronts of your teeth, and the wire is used to connect the brackets to one another. The bands apply tension to the entire brace structure. As your braces are adjusted over your treatment time, your teeth are gently guided to their proper alignment. While the average treatment time with braces is 18-30 months, your individual treatment time will depend on your unique situation and how your teeth and jaws respond to treatment. After your braces are removed at the end of the treatment time, you may need to wear a dental retainer to protect your teeth and hold them in place while they settle into their new alignment.

Invisalign

In addition to being virtually invisible, the Invisalign aligners are removable so you can easily remove them to eat, floss, and brush your teeth.
