Dr. Monique LeBlanc, PsyD, Psychologist (Candidate Register – C10853)

Monique LeBlanc, PsyD, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist (Candidate Register) with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (NSBEP). Monique completed the Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) program in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. She completed her one year residency at Dr. Pure and Associates Ltd. under Dr. Pure’s supervision.

Monique has a broad background in mental health issues in children and families. Her areas of practice include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), executive functioning challenges, adjustment issues, parenting stress, childhood attachment issues and trauma. She uses a therapeutic approach appropriate to each client that she sees, integrating modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy in her work. In addition to therapy, Monique conducts neuropsychological assessments.

Overall, Monique uses a client-centered approach to form deep and meaningful relationships with her clients. She is passionate about her work and providing the best care possible for her clients.
